Chapman to Play Dominican Tonight

ORANGE — The Chapman College men’s basketball team will play Dominican College at 8 tonight in the first round of the Doubletree Tournament at Chapman.
The Panthers (1-0) opened their season with an 80-79 victory over Chico State. Roger Middleton had 36 points and 18 rebounds to lead Chapman. Dominican is 0-1.
In the other first-round game, Fresno Pacific (2-0) will play Humboldt State (2-0) at 4 p.m. The championship game will be played at 8 p.m. Saturday.
In the women’s tournament, Chapman plays Cal State Hayward today at 6 p.m. and Air Force plays Pepperdine at 2 p.m.
