ANAHEIM : New Hotels on Way in Disneyland Area
- Share via
A 17-story, 750-suite hotel is on its way to the Disneyland area after gaining Planning Commission approval.
The 350,000-square-foot hotel will be built on the northwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue and will be accompanied by a five-level parking garage. Two restaurants, meeting rooms and banquet rooms will be part of the hotel.
The developer, Anaheim Hotel Complex of San Dimas, will build on a five-acre parcel that is vacant.
The commission also approved plans for replacing the 100-room Space Age Lodge with a four-story, 169-room hotel. The old hotel at 1176 W. Katella Ave. will be demolished to make way for the new structure.
