Autry Exhibition

Gene Autry’s too old to suit up and ride in Westerns, but he still honors his heritage by creating a museum to bring the yesterdays to us; the West of truth and legend.
So into the museum stalks a greenhorn, a bad guy named Wilson, to fight dirty. The greenhorn starts raking his mud and shouts “fake,” “tainted,” “artificial,” “unschooled,” all the time looking inward and failing to see the beauty before his eyes.
Why, he even accuses Gene of scaring the virility out of white men by showing Indian pictures. People like Wilson don’t understand Westerners like Gene, who is always aware of the relationship between life, nature and art.
