Nepali Climber Dies on Slopes of Everest

KATMANDU, Nepal — Nepali climber Finjoo Sherpa died of altitude sickness during a South Korean attempt to ascend Mt. Everest, the world’s highest mountain, Nepali officials said Friday.
The Nepali Tourism Ministry said the 41-year-old climber died as he was being taken down the 29,028-foot mountain from a camp at 20,800 feet.
