21 U.S. Athletes Test Negative

INDIANAPOLIS — Twenty-one U.S. track and field athletes, including Edwin Moses and Jackie Joyner-Kersee, tested negative for drugs in the latest batch of random tests, The Athletics Congress said today.
The TAC report covered four testing periods starting the week of Nov. 20. The year-round testing program began Oct. 2, and no one yet has tested positive, although several who failed to show up for the tests are under investigation.
