Portland used an 11-0 run with 10 minutes left to take control and the Pilots went on to beat St. Mary’s, 58-46, Saturday night in a West Coast Conference game at Portland, Ore.
Eric Spoelstra led the Pilots (4-11, 1-1) with 16 points.
The loss snapped a four-game win streak for the Gaels (5-10, 1-3).
Gonzaga 63, USF 62--Brian Frederickson scored with 1:18 remaining to give the Bulldogs (6-9, 1-1) the lead for good at Spokane, Wash. The Dons are 5-11 and 1-2.
