DETROIT — Detroit Red Wing Gerard Gallant drew a three-game suspension without appeal for striking linesman Jerry Pateman after the Minnesota North Stars’ 6-4 victory over the Red Wings in Edmonton.
The Wings have asked the NHL to look at a goal disallowed by another referee, Paul Stewart, and to investigate his conduct on the ice.
