Westwood : Jewish Conference Slated

Tikkun magazine and Hillel, the Jewish student organization at UCLA, are sponsoring a conference of liberal and progressive Jewish intellectuals to be held at the Westwood campus on Saturday and Sunday.
The conference is intended to show that not all American Jews support the policies of the Israeli government, especially in the occupied territories of Gaza and the West Bank of the Jordan, organizers said.
The meeting will begin with keynote addresses at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and continue through Sunday afternoon.
