State Panel to Hold Hearing on Drugs

COSTA MESA — Members of the State Advisory Board on Drug Programs will hold a public hearing from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Red Lion Inn, 3050 Bristol St. in Costa Mesa.
The hearing is part of Prevention 1990, a four-day conference beginning today, sponsored by the state Department of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
The public is invited to testify on drug prevention issues, program proposals and state priorities before the board, which makes policy recommendations to the department.
Speakers will be limited to five minutes and must submit a written copy of their testimony to the board. Forms will be available at the conference registration desk.
