COSTA MESA : OCC Reports Record Spring Enrollment

Spring classes began this week at Orange Coast College and this semester’s registration brought the largest percent increase in enrollment in a decade.
The 21,554 students registered for spring classes represent an increase of 8.2% over spring enrollment a year ago. Enrollment increased 14.2% beyond the fall semester’s figures. Orange Coast College remains the largest single-campus community college in the nation, according to Community Relations Director Jim Carnett.
Registration continues in the admissions office through Feb. 2. Appointments are not necessary.
A number of 15-week classes beginning Feb. 12 will open for enrollment Feb. 5 through Feb. 8. Mid-semester classes begin March 26, with registration held March 19 to March 22.
