U-Haul Selling 8,000 Trucks: U-Haul is peddling 8,000 of its trucks in an effort to modernize its fleet by March 31. The used vehicles, some dating to the mid-1970s, have been replaced under U-Haul’s $1.2-billion modernization program. The Phoenix-based company maintains about 65,000 trucks and 90,000 trailers.
