DENVER — The Super Bowl was a low enough blow for Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway. Then his luggage was intercepted.
Upon returning to Denver Monday on a charter flight, Elway waited as all the luggage was carted to a hangar at Stapleton International Airport, only to find that his garment bag was missing.
So he did what anybody else does in the same situation: He filled out a lost luggage claim form.
“His bag is probably on one of the other two charters,” customer service representative Bill Anderson said. “We’ll find it and get it to his house. This can happen to anyone, even John Elway.”
