Commodore International Ltd.: The West Chester, Pa.-based computer maker’s profit dropped 70% in the second quarter ending Dec. 31 to $11.3 million, compared to the same period a year earlier. Sales for the period declined to $310.7 million, down 11% from the previous year. General softness in worldwide markets and a “modest negative impact” from adverse foreign exchange movements were blamed for the results.
