In other Orange Empire Conference men’s games:

Fullerton 74, Orange Coast 64--Rashone Lewis had 27 points and 11 rebounds as host Fullerton broke a six-game losing streak. Roy Joseph added 18 for Fullerton (10-15, 1-6). Scott DeStefano scored 16 and Chip Hanlon 12 for OCC (13-10, 2-6).

Riverside 105, Saddleback 80--Deon Robinson had 25 points and eight rebounds and Xavier Edison 22 points, seven assists and eight rebounds for Riverside (15-12, 4-4). Terrell Malone scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half for Saddleback (8-16, 1-6).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball:

Golden West 98, Cypress 55--Danielle Barlow had 18 points and 10 rebounds for visiting Golden West (27-1, 8-0), which led, 52-20, at the half. Tami Bartley scored 18 for Cypress (0-23, 0-8). First-place Golden West, the top-ranked team in the state, has a two-game conference lead over Orange Coast.

Orange Coast 52, Fullerton 42--Cindy Kollar scored 19 points for host Orange Coast (22-5, 6-2). It is OCC’s first sweep of a two-game series with Fullerton, which leads the all-time series, 19-7. Erika Manning added 10 for OCC, the 17th-ranked team in the state.

Saddleback 62, Riverside 60--Riverside led, 29-18, with five minutes left in the first half, but host Saddleback scored the last 13 points of the half to lead, 31-29.

The Gauchos (13-12, 4-4) outscored Riverside, 13-5, in the first 5:34 of the second half to make it 44-34, pushed the lead to 57-45 with 5:15 remaining and then held on.

Shannon Garnos had 27 points and 10 rebounds for Saddleback, and teammate Djuanna Anderson had 14 rebounds and eight assists. Riverside is 16-10, 4-4.
