COMMUNITY COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Golden West Rolls to Victory Over Riverside

Stacee Johnson and Donna Gondringer scored 20 points each to lead Golden West College to a 110-79 victory over Riverside Friday in an Orange Empire Conference women’s game at Riverside.
Golden West, the top-ranked team in the state, is 27-1, 9-0 in conference play.
In other Orange Empire Conference games:
Rancho Santiago 71, Saddleback 55--Charisse Simon scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds to lead host Rancho Santiago (7-13, 2-6). Carolyn Burns scored 21 points and added 18 rebounds for Rancho Santiago.
Tracy McKee scored 14 for Saddleback (13-13, 4-5).
Fullerton 78, Cypress 25--Vicki Evans scored 12 points for Fullerton. Every member of the Hornets scored. Stacy Johnson and Nicki Durity added 10 each for Fullerton (13-12, 5-3). Claudia Aguirre scored 17 points and had 11 rebounds for Cypress (0-23, 0-9).
