Baby Swap Story to Be TV Movie: The story of two Florida girls who were accidentally swapped shortly after birth and raised for a decade by the wrong biological parents was sold to the Hollywood production company O’Hara-Horowitz Productions last week. Producers Michael O’Hara and Lawrence Horowitz acquired the rights to the story for more than $100,000, and NBC put it into development as a two-hour movie of the week. Bob Mays, who learned in 1989 that his 11-year-old daughter, Kimberly, actually was the biological offspring of Ernest and Regina Twigg, sold the story to publicize his fight to keep his daughter and to pay legal bills he estimates will top $100,000. Mays also said the money would pay for Kimberly’s college education.
