Fund for Animals to Honor Films, TV

The films “Gorillas in the Mist” and “The Bear” will be honored at the fourth annual Genesis Awards presented at a luncheon Sunday at the Beverly Hilton.
Other Genesis Awards, given by the Fund for Animals (FFA), will also recognize entertainment productions and media people who have contributed to the understanding of animal issues. Television shows “L.A. Law” and “Roseanne,” news commentator Charles Kurault and cartoonist Berke Breathed will also be honored. Information: (818) 905-1050.
