A small, 3.1-magnitude earthquake jiggled the desert 25 miles south of Palm Springs on Friday, but there were no reports of injuries or damage. “I felt no movement, no swaying, no anything,” said Lois Candelaria, tribal chairman of the Cahuilla Indians, whose reservation is in the area.
