Bill Would Require Dating Services to Test for AIDS

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Dating services would be required to test clients and employees for AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases under a bill proposed in the state Legislature. The sponsor, Sen. Theo Mitchell, said he was unsure of the need for the measure, but he wanted to prompt debate on a topic raised by a constituent.
