HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

Monday is Lincoln’s Birthday. The following will be closed in observance of the holiday:

All county and state offices.

Most public elementary, junior and high schools, except for those in the following districts: Los Alamitos Unified, Saddleback Valley Unified and Santa Ana Unified. All colleges and universities, including community colleges, will be open.

County and state courthouses.

County libraries.

City offices in Brea, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Niguel and San Juan Capistrano will be closed. All others will be open.

Federal offices and courthouses will be open.

All banks and savings and loans will be open.

Mail: All post offices will be open and mail will be delivered.

Trash: There will be regular trash pickup by city and county refuse workers.

Buses: Orange County Transit District buses will run on regular schedules. There will be dial-a-ride and car-pool services available on the holiday.

Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
