Spelling and Principal Team: Independent producer Aaron Spelling, who hasn’t had a TV series on this season for the first time in 21 years, will be back on the screen next season--and at his old stomping ground, ABC. Spelling, who while under exclusive contract to ABC turned out such hits as “Dynasty,” “The Love Boat,” “Charlie’s Angels” and “Family,” is joining with Victoria Principal Productions to make a series about an investigator for the Los Angeles district attorney’s office. Principal, who played Pam Ewing on “Dallas” for nine years, will star. The series, as yet untitled, has a 13-episode commitment from ABC.
