Floods Kill 11 in Iran

NICOSIA, Cyprus — Rivers burst their banks on Tuesday after two days of unrelenting rain, flooding 2,700 square miles of southeastern Iran and killing at least 11 people, Tehran radio said.
The broadcast, monitored in Cyprus, said Chabahar and more than 50 surrounding towns and villages were submerged.
