Orange Glen 58, Vista 51--Melody Hroch scored 25 points and Yvonne Duarte added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Orange Glen (6-15, 2-11).
Poway 62, Fallbrook 29--Christy Fortney scored a game-high 15 points to lead visiting Poway (19-3, 11-2). Fallbrook fell to 7-16, 4-9.
Torrey Pines 62, San Dieguito 35--Karyn Armstrong led all scorers with 15 points for Torrey Pines, which improved to 14-8, 8-5. Also in double figures for Torrey Pines was Adrienne Breland (12) and Gina Westby (10). San Dieguito is 5-17, 0-13.
Grossmont 2-A League
Grossmont 56, Santana 54--Christina Adams, the state’s leading scorer, made two free throws with six seconds remaining as Grossmont upset No. 2 Santana. Adams finished with 39 points for Grossmont (11-6, 5-2). Stephanie Thompson had 16 for Santana (20-4, 6-1).
El Cajon Valley 84, Valhalla 20--Debbie Duhaney outscored Valhalla herself with 23 points. Sara Mease added 18 for No. 6 ECV (19-4, 5-2).
Avocado League
Carlsbad 53, San Marcos 42--Renee Demirdjian scored 13 for Carlsbad, which improved to 8-9 and 7-3 in the Avocado League. Carlsbad made 14 of 20 from the free-throw line. San Marcos fell to 12-10, 7-4.
Harbor League
Our Lady Of Peace 58, Marian 25--April Velk scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for No. 8 OLP (20-3, 8-0). Tammy Tavares added 28 points for OLP.
Grossmont 3-A League
Monte Vista 49, El Capitan 40--Amy Moreno scored 20 points for Monte Vista and the Monarchs (13-8, 6-2) guaranteed themselves a share of the league title.
Boys
Grossmont 2-A League
Valhalla 109, El Cajon Valley 41--Valhalla closed out its regular season in style with the rout at El Cajon Valley. Tony Lee scored 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had six assists for Valhalla (19-8, 8-0), which led, 26-4, after the first quarter. Mike Stadler scored 21 for El Cajon Valley (3-19, 2-5).
Grossmont 3-A League
Monte Vista 84, El Capitan 54--The No. 10 Monarchs finished out the regular season with a lopsided victory at home. Monte Vista led, 50-17, at halftime. Joe McNaull scored 29 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Monte Vista (16-6, 8-0). John Duckworth had 16 for El Capitan (9-15, 0-7).
Helix 73, Granite Hills 51--Helix outscored Granite Hills, 24-5, in the third quarter. The victory tied Helix (11-7, 4-3) with Granite Hills (9-15, 4-3) for second place. Lloyd Lake had 17 and Henry Lundy added 13 for Helix.
Coastal League
Bishop’s 51, Army-Navy 40--Bishop’s clinched at least a tie for the league title with the road victory. Brian Aalbers had 23 points for Bishops (19-4, 10-0).
Citrus League
Midway Baptist 70, Borrego Springs 48--Midway Baptist outscored visiting Borrego Springs, 22-6, in the third quarter. Tobin Wilkins had 29 points for Midway Baptist.
