LOCAL : Laguna Niguel Ticket 1 of 4 Winners of Big Lotto Jackpot

There were four winning tickets purchased in Southern California for the $67-million jackpot in the midweek Lotto 6/49 drawing Wednesday night, lottery officials said today.
The tickets, each worth about $16.7 million, were bought in Laguna Niguel, Los Angeles, Long Beach and Simi Valley. Lotto officials said the winning ticket purchased in Orange County was bought at a Circle K store on Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel.
The winning numbers picked in the twice-weekly game were 44, 27, 34, 12, 21, 41 and the bonus number, 6.
The numbers were chosen during a television broadcast originating in Sacramento. The numbers are listed in the order they were announced, but any combination would win.
There were 39 tickets with five numbers plus the bonus number, each worth a $231,448 share of a $9.02-million prize pool.
