CITY BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS : Dorsey Downs Carson, 67-53

Kareem Sconiers and Tim Cage each scored 17 points to lead Dorsey to a 67-53 victory over Carson in a City boys’ 4-A Division quarterfinal game Wednesday night at Carson.
The Dons (20-6), who lost to the Colts (15-9) during the regular season, will play Manual Arts in Friday’s semifinals at the Sports Arena.
In other City boys’ 4-A Division action:
Manual Arts 86, Washington 43--Junior Dwain Bradberry scored 22 points and Kevin Beal added 18 to lead the top-seeded Toilers (23-2) to an easy victory over the Generals (12-10) at Manual Arts.
3-A DIVISION
Fremont 50, Bell 42--Chris Ford scored 21 points and Michael Pate grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the defending champion Pathfinders (28-2) past the Eagles (16-9) at Fremont.
Grant 58, Locke 40--Setro Terzian scored 21 points and Keith Weinstein added 15 to lead the Lancers (22-3) past the Saints (18-10) at Grant.
North Hollywood 78, Hamilton 77--Dana Jones scored 25 points to lead North Hollywood (22-3) to a victory at Hamilton (19-7).
