Qintex to Sell Dana Point Land: Qintex announced that it will sell its 232 acres of prime land in Dana Point that overlook the ocean. The Australian firm’s lenders have been trying to sell its Australian television stations and resorts to recover more than $1 billion in loans. Stock analysts suggest the Dana Point land is so loaded with debt that the company won’t realize much--if any--profit from the sale. So selling it has been a low priority. Qintex paid $131 million for the Monarch Beach acreage.
