Stamp Ads

I am writing in reference to the proposal to once again raise the price of postage stamps. I have a solution that should not only steady the rate, but drop the price of a stamp.
Why not let companies advertise on the stamps? I wouldn’t mind licking the back of a Pepsi ad instead of Washington’s head if I can save some money.
Despite the public disdain for most advertisers, would it really bother anyone to send an envelope with a small picture of the new Ford car instead of an eagle.
What’s it going to be America, an orange juice ad or yet another raise (20% this time)?
