IRVINE : Police Seek Suspect in Attempted Rape

Police are seeking a suspect in the attempted rape of a woman as she was jogging alone through a neighborhood.
Wearing nothing except a dark-colored baseball cap, the man grabbed the 25-year-old woman as she was running east on Deerfield, near Fawn Glen, shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, Irvine police said.
The woman escaped when she managed to break free, and the attacker fled into a cluster of nearby townhomes.
The suspect, still at large, is described as Caucasian, in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build and a flabby waistline, police said.
