The Masters of Magic Ball dinner dance and auction held Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach raised about $130,000 for Schoolpower Laguna Beach Education Foundation. Gay Pivaroff and Joann Halvajian were chairwomen.
The Uptown Rhapsody brunch held Sunday at the Center Club in Newport Beach raised about $115,000 for the Guilds of Childrens Hospital of Orange County. Jean Hamann and Fran Paulson were chairwomen.
Cuisine Fantasy VII held Sunday at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa raised about $20,000 for the Irvine and Las Canciones Committee of the Orange County Philharmonic Society. Angie Zarateand Mary Louise Smith were chairwomen.
The Celebrity Waiters Luncheon held Sunday at Bentley’s Restaurant in Huntington Beach raised about $17,000 for the Orange County Chapter of the American Diabetes Assn. Kathleen Rapp was chairwoman.
