Muir 43, Point Loma 38--Rose Jong made a four-point play in the final 30 seconds at the Sports Arena to cap a comeback that gave the Mustangs the Division II title.
Point Loma led, 38-37, when Jong made a three-point shot. She was fouled after the shot and made one of two free throws.
Tyeast Brown of Point Loma missed a three-pointer with 20 seconds left, and Muir’s Melinda Armstrong finished off Muir’s comeback with two free throws.
Muir plays Northern champion San Ramon, a 58-51 winner over Hayward Moreau, Saturday in the State final at Oakland.
