In the championship game of the Corona softball tournament:
Irvine 1, El Toro 0--Jennifer Brundage (4-1) pitched a no-hitter, struck out seven and made an error in the second inning, giving El Toro its only runner of the game.
In the first round of the Cypress softball tournament:
Garden Grove 1, Gahr 0--Stephanie Smith (2-1) pitched a perfect game for Garden Grove (3-1) to lead Garden Grove. She struck out 10.
Cypress 2, Millikan 0--Beth Howard (2-1) pitched a no-hitter but Cypress had two errors to keep it from being perfect.
At the Downey Tournament:
Ocean View 1, El Rancho 0--Jennifer Kimball pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven. Kimball had an RBI single in first for the victory (1-2).
