The body of a woman was found in an alley behind an industrial park Wednesday. Sheriff’s deputies said she had been strangled.
The body was discovered about 3 a.m. by Leisure World security officers behind the Laguna Hills Commercial Center in the 23000 block of Ridge Route Drive, said Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson. A concrete block wall separates the center from Leisure World.
“It appears that she was brought from somewhere else and put there,” Olson said.
He said the victim, believed to be in her early 40s, has been tentatively identified through fingerprints, but her name was withheld until relatives can make a positive identification.
