SANTA PAULA : Council Delays Plumbing Vote

Bowing to the request of a top building official, the Santa Paula City Council has deferred action on a proposal that would require water-saving plumbing in new construction.
The council was set to require ultra-low-consumption plumbing last week, but Building and Safety Director Stephen Stuart said more studies were needed to see if the technology is compatible with the city’s aging sewer system.
