Man Arrested in Wife’s Death

Police arrested a Hawthorne man Saturday in connection with the stabbing death of his common-law wife.
Leonard Binns, 38, was being held without bail after police found Rose Ann Thompson, 29 in their apartment at 4080 120th St. with multiple stab wounds shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Hawthorne, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said. The spokesman declined to give further details.
