Los Angeles police detectives identified a man Tuesday who was stabbed to death last week as Samuel Alonzo Meadows, 51, a guard at a Sylmar construction site.
Meadows, who had been stabbed repeatedly, was found on the 1000 block of Arroyo Street in San Fernando on March 21.
Meadows died before he could tell authorities who he was or who had attacked him.
Meadows was identified Tuesday, after workers at the condominium project reported that he was missing from his job.
Meadows lived in a small trailer behind the Sylmar construction site at 11060 Sharp Ave.
Police said that a search of the trailer indicated a struggle had taken place there.
Meadows’ pickup truck was also missing, they said.
