SANTA ANA : Public’s Help Asked in Finding Girl, 14

Police asked for the public’s help Tuesday in locating a mentally retarded 14-year-old girl who apparently ran away from home.
Gloria Estelle Rios, who has the mental capacity of a 7- or 8-year-old, was last seen about 5:20 p.m. Saturday walking away from her home in the 1200 block of East McFadden Avenue, Santa Ana Police spokeswoman Maureen A. Thomas said.
Rios has a history of running away from home, Thomas said.
The youngster is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown blouse with green designs on the side, yellow shorts and white tennis shoes.
