Regarding David J. Fox’s recent articles on Disney’s policy of refusing to book its movies in theaters that screen commercials, here’s an open letter to studios, studio-owned/controlled exhibitors and independent exhibitors:
Bring back short subjects and more cartoons; staff and manage real theaters instead of malls full of rumpus rooms. If you don’t change soon, audiences will realize that movies have become TV and stay home with the real thing.
