Muslim Named to Group’s Board

Aly Y. Masoud has been elected to the executive board of the National Conference of Christians and Jews--the first Muslim to be named to the board since the organization was formed in 1927.
Masoud was born, educated and practiced law in Cairo until he immigrated to the United States in 1970. The business executive served on the executive board of the New York region of the human relations agency.
