California IN BRIEF : RIVERSIDE : Bodies of Murdered Man, Woman Found

The bodies of a man and woman were found dumped near Rattlesnake Mountain in the remote Rubidoux area, Riverside County Sheriff’s officials said. The couple had apparently been shot somewhere else, officials said. “They were definitely put out there by somebody,” Sgt. Bill Strickland said. “The victims were believed to have been at the location for not more than two days.” Their identities were withheld pending notification of relatives.
