Flamemaster Corp. Profit Doubles in 2nd Quarter

Flamemaster Corp. said its fiscal second-quarter profit more than doubled from a year earlier, to $228,975 from $97,217.

The Sun Valley maker of coatings and sealants said the higher earnings came on a 44% gain in its revenue, to $1.56 million from $1.08 million. Flamemaster attributed the gains to improved production and packaging techniques and to a broader line of products.

For the first half of its fiscal year, Flamemaster’s profit jumped to $339,010 from $123,210, and its six-month revenue rose to $2.67 million from $1.66 million.
