An early-morning fire swept through two units of a motel near Disneyland on Monday, causing $250,000 damage but no injuries, authorities said.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which broke out shortly after 4 a.m. at the Saga Motel in the 1600 block of South Harbor Boulevard.
Ron Hamric, a division chief for the Anaheim Fire Department, said an occupant of one of the razed units called 911 after smelling smoke in his room.
Forty Anaheim firefighters, assisted by a unit from the Orange Fire Department, took 14 minutes to control the fire, Hamric said.
