PEOPLE : Antonowsky Joins Columbia Pictures

Sony Corp.’s Columbia Pictures unit named Marvin Antonowsky to the new post of executive vice president and assistant to the chairman. Antonowsky is a longtime associate of Frank Price, who became Columbia’s chairman earlier this year.

Antonowsky worked as a marketing consultant to Tri-Star Pictures and oversaw marketing operations at Universal Pictures and Columbia Pictures when Price headed those studios.

Columbia said Antonowsky would assist Price “in all areas” in his new position in Burbank.
