Mt. SAC 3rd in Forensics Contest

The Mt. San Antonio College Forensic Team captured third place in debate at the Community College National Speech Tournament in Kansas City last month.

First-place honors in the cross-examination debate went to Stephen Pan of Cypress and Jim Sadler of Pomona. Pan also took first place in the Lincoln-Douglass debate, while teammates Chris Patton of Upland and Ani Seumalo of La Verne finished third in that category.

In the individual events, Marilee Bagshaw of Rowland Heights took second place in drama and third in prose. John Dorse of La Habra Heights captured third place in drama.

Mario Marin of Glendale won second place in expository speaking and Rob Gregory of West Covina and Michelle Harry of Claremont were third in oral interpretation.
