Dominquez Hills Splits Doubleheader

The Cal State Dominquez Hills baseball team ended its season by splitting a doubleheader with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Saturday at Dominquez Hills.
The Toros won the first game 12-5, but lost the second game, 4-3.
The Toros (22-24-2, 12-18 in California Collegiate Athletic Assn. play) won Friday’s game, 7-6, in 12 innings. Dominquez Hills finished fifth in the league and San Luis Obispo (23-39,14-16) was fourth.
Dominquez Hills ended the season Batting .300, but the pitching staff’s earned run average was 6.00.
