The bodies of two Santee men were found submerged in San Vicente Lake near Lakeside after their families reported them missing after they had left on a fishing trip, authorities said.
Robert Becker, 31, and Richard Podratz, 21, were found in about 20 feet of water shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, a spokesman for the county coroner’s office said.
Their boat has not been found. A search of the area earlier had turned up a blue pickup truck that authorities said belonged to one of the men.
Police said there was no sign of trauma on the bodies.
