A man allegedly fleeing the scene of a woman’s stabbing death was arrested Saturday afternoon, police said.
At 2:49 p.m., officers responded to a call of a man beating a woman in the 1600 block of 18th Street. They arrived to find the body of Kimberly Murphy, in her 20s, who had been stabbed in the neck.
The suspect was identified as Wendell Bruno, 34, of New York.
