A benefit concert on Saturday for a new anti-child abuse facility drew a paid attendance of 125 people and raised $971, a spokeswoman for the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano said Sunday, adding that the figures are tentative pending a final accounting. About a dozen local rock bands and solo performers donated their services for the event to aid the 2-month-old Stop the Pain, a Santa Ana-based organization that is attempting to help provide more foster homes in Orange County for victims of child abuse.
