SIDELINES : U.S. Stars Lead Italian Victory

VARESE, Italy — Scavolini Pesaro, paced by former NBA players Darren Daye and Darwin Cook, won its second Italian basketball league title in three years.
Scavolini beat Ranger Varese 113-94 Tuesday night to wrap up the best-of-5 finals 3-1.
Cook, who played for New Jersey and San Antonio, scored 31 points. Daye, formerly of Chicago and Boston, added 24.
The victory put Scavolini in next season’s European Champions Cup.
