The California Music Theatre will present “Man of La Mancha,” starring Ken Howard as Cervantes and, right, Marilyn McCoo as Aldonza and Michael Tucci as Sancho, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, 300 E. Green St.
Previews will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday. Opening night will be at 8 p.m. June 9, with performances scheduled at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The closing performance will be June 24. Ticket prices range from $15 to $32.50.
“Man of La Mancha,” featuring “The Impossible Dream,” tells the story of Cervantes’ imprisonment during the Spanish Inquisition and the hope he inspires in the lives of his fellow prisoners through his reliving of the adventures of Don Quixote.
