Abortions for Sex Selection

In the abortion debate, I find myself usually on the sidelines unable to stomach the dishonesty and contrived nature of the rhetoric.
However, I am appalled at the stand taken by John Van de Kamp on the abortion for gender selection issue. This strikes me as morally idiotic and cannot represent the best thinking of the pro-choice side.
